Afrotunda is a marketplace where independent artisans and sellers can showcase and sell their creations. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Using Our Marketplace

  • Afrotunda connects buyers with independent sellers. We do not produce the products listed on the platform.
  • All users must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian to use the platform.
  • By using Afrotunda, you agree to provide accurate information and keep your account secure.

2. Seller Responsibilities

  • Sellers are responsible for their products, pricing, descriptions, images, and fulfillment.
  • Sellers must comply with all applicable laws, including copyright, product safety, and trade regulations.
  • Sellers agree to honor Afrotunda’s policies on returns, refunds, and customer service.
  • Sellers are responsible for managing orders, shipments, and communication with buyers.

3. Buyer Responsibilities

  • Buyers are responsible for providing accurate shipping and payment information.
  • Buyers must respect intellectual property and not copy or misuse content from sellers or the platform.
  • Buyers agree to follow Afrotunda policies when requesting returns, refunds, or disputes.

4. Payments and Fees

  • Afrotunda collects a commission on every sale as described in your seller agreement.
  • Payment to sellers will be processed according to the schedule and method defined in Dokan or your vendor dashboard.
  • Buyers agree to pay the listed price, including taxes, shipping, and other fees.

5. Marketplace Disclaimer

  • Afrotunda acts as an intermediary and is not responsible for the quality, accuracy, legality, or delivery of products sold by independent sellers.
  • While we monitor sellers for compliance, we do not guarantee that every transaction will meet your expectations.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Content on Afrotunda, including text, images, logos, and videos, is owned by Afrotunda or its sellers and is protected by copyright law.
  • Reproducing, distributing, or using content without authorization is prohibited.

7. Returns, Refunds, and Disputes

  • Buyers and sellers are expected to resolve disputes directly when possible.
  • Afrotunda may step in to mediate disputes when necessary, but we do not guarantee resolution in favor of either party.
  • Sellers must clearly state their return and refund policies on their store pages. Buyers should review these policies before purchasing.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

  • Afrotunda collects and processes personal data in accordance with GDPR.
  • Users can contact our Data Protection Officer at contact@afrotunda.com for questions or requests about personal data.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Afrotunda strives to maintain a secure and reliable platform but does not guarantee that the website will be error-free, uninterrupted, or completely secure.
  • Users use the platform at their own risk. Afrotunda is not liable for losses arising from use of the website or transactions between buyers and sellers.

10. Termination

  • Afrotunda may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in unlawful or harmful behavior.
  • Sellers who are removed must settle pending transactions in accordance with their agreements.

11. Changes to Terms

  • Afrotunda may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
  • Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.

12. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
  • Any disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of the Dutch courts.
